I have the Net10 version of the LG900G which is essentially the same phone with a locked-down firmware and all those issues with the random shutdowns and battery problems don't happen. Did they fix them in later releases of the firmware or hardware? We have 3 phones and except for the usual Tracfone annoyances (firmware has some features disabled), they work fine. Not great, but fine. The CPU is a bit slow so emulators aren't playable. The keyboard is well made and the included 4GB SD Flash card was very nice! Note though that the bundle with the Flash card doesn't have the data cable. Luckily, there is Bluetooth. We got the data cable off of Amazon so the Bluetooth connectivity is not tested. The screen is low resolution but almost all phones are. 320x240 kind of brings me back to the Apple II and NES days, LOL! The size of the screen is decent for a cell phone.

We haven't flashed the firmware to GW300 but I may try it on one if we ever get tired of them and upgrade. I feel bad that a previous poster paid $200 for one of the equivalent GW300 phones while I got mine for a fraction of that and with probably a cheaper carrier. :/ Of course, it's more than a year later so maybe the price collapsed... It pays to shop around either way!

this phone is really good looking, with its full QWERTY keypad yet there are some problems with it n i think these couldn t be easily solved coz the phone has been built with little careless tech. 2 give it a cost effecting stuff ..........
so the only better thing in it is just its keypad and smart look like blackberry mob.

I agree with you on the MX620 overall - the only thing I don't like as much on the M500 or MX400 is the wheel. The MX620's wheel seems much better, spins faster and more rounded grippy area make is easier to control (My M500 wheel looks plastic - maybe aluminum? . I wish they made a wired version of the MX620, I stopped using it because of the weight in favour of M500s and MX400s .

this is the same for me, bought brand new from vodafone in New Zealand and won't charge! I put it on charge and it continuosly turns on and then says out of battery and turns off again, over and over. My friend has the exact same problem. Sometimes we swap our batteries around and they start charging though. Very weird.
