Today, due to the cold, windy weather, I decided to wear my brand-new cute (and expensive) jacket that has a faux-fur hood. As I walked down the street, numerous PETA members attacked me with red liquid. I’m a Vegan and an animal-rights activist. FML
Well, a least it’s quite naturally: to sprinkle a fake fur wearer with a fake blood. All the world is fake.
I hate PETA as much as the next vegan animal rights activist. They do really fucked up shit in the name of ending animal cruelty and this arbitrary attack on you fits right along with their idiocy. That said, I want to mention that almost all fake fur apparel is actually made out of alpaca, cat or dog fur. If an item is under $100, the standard rule for american clothing companies is that they don’t have to document whether their is animal fur in them. So there pretty much is no such thing as a faux fur jacket. Also, why would you want to present as a pro-fur wearing person anyway. For people that don’t know you are wearing faux fur, you look like another compliant american popularizing murder. Just some things to think about. Not trying to stand on some moral high ground. You just seemed perplexed and I wanted to mention what I know.
